Kickstarter Success

Today our kickstarter page was launched (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/joehelyer/feed-me-to-the-wolves-a-short-film-by-aurora-filmw) We had managed to reach almost half of our target by the end of today!

Being successful with our kickstarter will benefit us greatly as we need as much money as we can along with our own individual contributions of £100 to be able to afford things like costume, props, set, make up, actors petrol and locations.

We also made a promotional video for the site too to introduce ourselves to the backers and tell them why we need their help!

Role Change

At the beginning of production, I was going to be on the camera team and be the clapper loader as well as fill out camera report sheets and assist the camera operator. However, after weeks of speculation, I decided to change roles from a minor role, to a bigger role of script supervisor.  When I was first assigned my role, it was the only role I had ever done in any films I'd been on previously so I knew what I was doing. The Road Screening

We had another screening today of The Road. This is a film I had seen before and liked the look and overall style and colour that it has. We took inspiration from both films we watched in the cinema over the past two days which was a good idea because it really helped everyone to understand the tone and direction that we wanted to go for with our film.
